Well, the 2652 album finally lands on the muggy, mildly sunny shores of Smallfish island (sorry, that was a bit laboured, wasn't it?) and I've got to say that having enjoyed listening to it for a few weeks it's without doubt one of my favourtie dubstep related albums. Distinctly different to the Burial style, this has a more crisp, sequenced feel, but it's that ever-present techno influence that adds so much to the proceedings. Filmic, deep, incredibly large in the beats department... I like it as there's nothing superfluous going on. Everything's been stripped back and it works a treat. A brill dubstep work and a recommendation.
