Restock. Good to hear some beats from Carsten Nicolai. I managed to get to the ICA for the Raster Noton Anniversary show (as I imagine some of you guys did) and I was blown away by the Alva Noto set (and the Byetone one as well). Crisp, heavyweight vibes with uber tight production and some seriously large bass work going on. This is Nicolai in his element and you can feel the love in the tracks. Beautifully put together with clever arrangements and a very firm nod towards old-school electro. I love the way he adds in little drops and edits to keep the tracks vibrant. Great stuff from a true master of his art. If you dig the minimal style, this is something you'll want to grab. Wicked. Limited vinyl version.
